Imagine waking up 1,000 years from now and having to adapt to a whole new future world with flying vehicles, aliens and robots. Futurama's leading man Fry gets accidentally frozen and wakes up 1,000 years from his current time. There he meets his only living relative, an old scientist with a crew consisting of an accountant, a ship captain, a robot, an intern and a crustacean-like doctor.
The show Futurama follows the odd adventures of this crew as they work for an interplanetary delivery system. The voice actors who portray the show's characters have lent their voices to other hit animated shows like Pinky and The Brain, Zootopia and the Kim Possible, and have done incredibly well for themselves. Phil LaMarr: $3 Million
Besides being a voice actor, Phil LaMarr is an actor, impressionist and comedian. He voices many characters in Futurama, but his main role is voicing Hermes Conrad. Conrad is the accountant at Planet express and has a thick Jamaican accent. He is a chronic workaholic and often yells at the others for not working hard enough. You'll often hear him yell "Sweet manatee of Galilee!"
LaMarr has been a voice actor in various animated shows you would remember as a kid. He voiced characters in Samurai Jack, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, and My Gym Partner's a Monkey. He voiced Kotal Kahn in Mortal Kombat X and other video games.
David Herman: $3 Million
David Herman plays the recurring role of Planet Express's janitor Scruffy. He also voices side characters in the show as Mayor Poopenmeyer, Dr. Ogden Wernstrom, Larry and Roberto. In 1995, Herman was one of the original nine members of the sketch comedy show MADtv. Dude Where's My Car? and Fun With Dick and Jane are some of Herman's small acting roles. He also had a role in the movie Office Space.
In the hit FOX show, Bob's Burgers, Herman plays the recurring role of the Wagstaff school counselor and avid knitter, Philip Frond. He was also the main role in OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes as Mr. Gar.
Lauren Tom: $5 Million
Playing the role of intern Amy Wong and her mother is actress, Lauren Tom. Don't let Amy fool you in this group of people at Planet Express. Amy has a Ph.D. in applied physics and earns her doctorate later on in the show. Lauren Tom has played various roles on television shows as an actress.
She played the infamous Julie in Friends, Ross's new girlfriend at one point that Rachelle despises. Tom played Dot in Grace Under Fire for its last season in 1998. If you loved the show Monk back in 2002, she played Mrs. Ling in "Mr. Monk and the 12th Man". She was also Yan Lin in the Tv adaptation of the comic series W.I.T.C.H. She was Celia Mack in the Disney show Andi Mack.
Tress MacNeille: $10 Million
MacNeille can lend her voice to portray various characters. In Futurama, she plays Mom, the wickedly evil CEO of MomCorp. Her character had a romantic history with Hubert J. Farnsworth, the old scientist, and owner of Planet Express. MacNeille also voices other characters in the show including Hattie McDoogal, Ndnd, Linda, Turanga Munda, and Tinny Tim.
MacNeille has a long list of characters she voices in The Simpsons such as Agnes Skinner and Brandine Spuckler. She even voiced Dot Wagner in Animaniacs and Babs Bunny in the 1990 series Tiny Toon Adventures.
John DiMaggio: $10 Million
In Futurama, the character of Bender can be described as the shows black shadow being an alcoholic, narcissist, smoker and gambler. The character is voiced by John DiMaggio. DiMaggio has had voice acting roles in Ben 10, F is for Family, Chowder and Teen Titans.
He has also played Jake the Dog in Adventure Time and Dr.Drakken in Kim Possible. In the Netflix series Disenchantment, he plays King Zog. DiMaggio has also had film roles in Wreck-It Ralph, Transformers: The Last Knight and Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
Maurice LaMarche: $11 Million
Former stand-up comedian and voice actor, Maurice LaMarche is one of those voice actors who seems to have voiced almost everyone at some point. LaMarche voices Kif Kroker in Futurama. Lieutenant Kroker is an intelligent green-skinned alien and the exact opposite of his dimwitted captain, Zadd Brannigan. Kroker also comes to date intern Amy Wong in the show.
LaMarche is also known for voicing Brain in Animaniacs and the spin-off show Pink and the Brain. He started his carer on the animated show Inspector Gadget (1983). He went on to do voice acting for the shows The Real Ghostbusters as Egon Spangler and the films Wreck-It Ralph, Frozen and The Boxtrolls. LaMarche won an Emmy for his role in Futurama.
Frank Welker: $15 Million
Frank Welker has voiced some famous characters in his career and voicing Nibbler in Futurama is only one of them. Don't be deceived by the cute, adorable pet Lord Nibbler. He is a highly intelligent Nibblonian who protects Earth from Brainspawn. His number two's are also remarkable as it contains high levels of dark matter.
The beloved franchise, Scooby-Doo has been a childhood favorite for many throughout the years. Welker voices Fred and Scooby-Doo in the many renditions of the franchise. He even voices the evil Megatron and Soundwave in the Transformers franchise. He was given an Emmy for his lifetime achievement.
Katey Sagal: $30 Million
Known for playing the tough and unapologetic Gemma Teller Morrow in the FX series Sons of Anarchy, Katey Sagal voices Leela in Futurama. Leela is Planet Express's spaceship captain and pilot. She's often is the one who saves the crew from imminent danger. Leela is a tough girl who wears combat boots has purple hair and one eye.
Katey Sagal has made her career as an on-screen actress along with voicing Leela. She starred as Peggy Bundy in the 1987 show Married...With Children. She also had a small role as Helen Norwood in Lost for four episodes. Sagal plays Karen Peralta in the show Brooklyn-Nine-Nine. You would also remember her from the Disney film Smart House as the artificially intelligent Pat. She has also made motherly appearances in the films Pitch Perfect 2 and Jack and the Beanstalk.
Billy West: $35 Million
Billy West is responsible for voicing Futurama's notable main characters. He juggles voicing Philip Fry, Professor Farnsworth, Doctor Zoidberg, Zapp Brannigan. He also creates the voices for side characters such as Richard Nixon's head, Leo Wong and Smitty. West voices the shows main protagonist, Fry, who was accidentally frozen and woke up in the 30th century. He also plays his living relative, professor Farnsworth who is the owner of Planet Express. Doctor Zoidberg is the crew's doctor who resembles a crustacean with a tentacle-like mouth.
West is notable for voicing Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd in the 1996 film Space Jam starring Michael Jordan. He was a cast member of The Howard Stern Show as an impressionist until 1995. He also voiced Shaggy in Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island. West has voiced many characters in the shows CatDog, Ben 10, Chowder, Wacky Races and Disenchantment along with some of his other Futurama co-stars.
