Nigeria Hosts ThisDay Music Festival

LAGOS (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — While Celebrating 46 years of independence from colonial rule, Nigeria decided to throw a party. The two day ThisDay Music Festival was held in at the Polo Club in Lagos and headlined with some top names in entertainment, featuring performances by Jay-Z, Beyonce, En Vogue, Ciara, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Missy Elliott and Busta Rhymes.

The festival also featured performances by a cross section of Nigerian artists such as King Sunny Ade, Tu Face, DBanj, Dare Art Alade, Weird MC, Asha and Seun Anikulapo-Kuti are.

The festival was well-attended by Nigerian music fans and political figures. Senate President, Ken Nnamani, Lagos and Delta State Governors, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and James Ibori, Senator Udo Udoma, Senator Adolphus Wabara, Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Bayo Ojo along with their retinues were all on hand.
