Michael Chiarello was an American celebrity chef. He was noted for his Italian-influenced California cuisine. He was the host of cooking shows Easy Entertaining with Michael Chiarello and NapaStyle, and competed on The Next Iron Chef. He owned winery Chiarello Family Vineyards, in Yountville, CA; tapas restaurant Coqueta; Italian restaurants Bottega, across California; and kitchen-ware/designer store NapaStyle, in Yountville.

He was the son of Antoniette Marie and Fortunato Chiarello. All eight of his great-grandparents were Italian, from Calabria. He had four children, including a son with his wife Eileen Gordon.

Michael’s paternal grandfather was Domenico Chiarello (the son of Fortunato Chiarello and Mariantonia Caligiuri).

Michael’s paternal grandmother was Josephine Mancuso (the daughter of Giuseppi Mancuso and Caroline Grande).

Michael’s maternal grandfather was Pietro Aiello (the son of Giovanni Pasquale Aiello and Maria Ferrarelli).

Michael’s maternal grandmother was Vincenzina Grande (the daughter of Giovanni Grande and Maria Antonia Scalise).
